• Also, we only have three more Wednesday night Band Spectacular prep meetings from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm in the Library.  Please join us to learn more about the event and all of the volunteer positions we need to fill.

• Finally, please mark your calendars to attend the mandatory volunteer training at 7:30 pm in the library on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.  You will be set up with the manager overseeing your volunteer position to get a quick overview of what your responsibilities will be on the day of the big event.

PLAY FOR SODA - !!Sunday, October 4th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm!!

• Just like last year, Play for Soda will be located at the Vons on Alamo and Tapo Canyon.
  

• For those new to the music program, Play for Soda is a long standing tradition in which our Marching Pride play our cadences, show tunes and pep tunes in exchange for donations to our program including soda, snacks, and anything else a person may feel inspired to leave in a donation jar.  

SUGGESTED DONATION CONTRIBUTIONS - 

• A reminder that we need all the support we can get to keep this program thriving.  THANK YOU to those of you who have already sent in or made payments. We really appreciate every dollar we receive.

• $650 per Marching Pride student OR $250 per student in all other programs*

*Note that if your child is in both the Marching Pride and Concert Band/Orchestra/Wind   

 Ensemble class, you only pay the Marching Pride donation, not both.

• Payment Options/Plans Contributions:

• One Payment - Easily donated via Zelle (treasurer@simimusic.org), Check (payable to Simi Valley Music Boosters), or Cash.

• Installments - 3, 6, & 10 month payment plans available.
